Introduction

Logging into Tes products is easy and secure.

Depending on your school's set up, you'll either use your email and password or your school's existing identity provider via Single Sign-On (SSO), removing the need for a separate Tes password. You'll automatically be directed to the appropriate authentication method based on your email address.

This guide outlines the various ways to log in and where to get help if you can't.

Log in with email and password

To log in to Tes with your email and password:

1. Navigate to the URL for the Tes product you want to log in to (for example; https://www.timetable.tes.com).
2. Type your email address.
3. The system runs a check and if your school does not have SSO, you can type in your password.
4. Select Log in.

Log in with Single Sign-On (SSO)

To log in to Tes with SSO:

1. Navigate to the URL for the Tes product you want to log in to (for example; https://www.timetable.tes.com).
2. Type your email address.
3. The system runs a check and if your school has SSO, you'll be logged in directly using your school's identity provider and won't need to type a password.

What if you forget your password?

If you are asked to log in with a password and have forgotten it;

1. When you're asked to type in your password, select Forgotten password?
2. Add the email address associated with your school and select Reset password.
3. If there is an existing account with the email address you entered, it will send an email to that address with a reset password link.
4. Select the link in the email and follow the prompts to reset your password.
5. Once your password is reset, you can log in with email and password. 

If you can't log in to Tes at all

If you can't log in to Tes, please see the system administrator at your school to check you have been set up with a Universal account on Tes.
