New features

Manage the entire electives or choices subject selection to class allocation with Options

• You can now set up electives or choices subjects and send them to students for their preference selections.
• Monitor responses, allocate students by preference and create elective or choices classes that can be shared in draft timetables.

Create temporary teachers for covers 

• You can now add temporary teachers straight into Timetable 2.0 and assign them to cover lessons.

Improvements

Log in using SSO 

• If your school uses an identity provider via Single Sign-On (SSO) and has been integrated with Timetable 2.0, you will be able to log in using SSO.

Teacher notifications

• When a teacher's lessons have cover assigned or a room has changed, Timetable 2.0 will now send automated emails notifying the covering teacher or the teacher being covered.

View-only access

• Set up users with view-only access so they can log in to Timetable 2.0 but not make any changes to any drafts or timetables. This can be useful to let users with view-only access review timetable drafts before publishing.

Period structure

• More flexibility has been introduced to let you create a grid by session (teaching time) or using periods (period structure) in a timetable draft.
